This surgical hands-on course will provide participants the opportunity to closely observe the stabilization of lower dentures with mini implants, and learn surgical and restorative protocols. Participants will also place mini implants in mandibular models and learn to use all necessary instruments. Los Angeles Christian Health Centers will receive 100 percent of the tuition proceeds in the form of a donation.

Dr. Raymond Choi received his DDS from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC and has taught there for over 10 years as an assistant clinical professor. He is currently an adjunct clinical faculty member at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine and a master’s candidate in geriatric dentistry at USC. Dr. Choi is also a fellow of the ICOI, an associate fellow of the AAID, and a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute. As a general dentist who has been placing implants for over 20 years in his private practice in Tustin, California, he was one of the first dentists on the West Coast to place mini dental implants for loose-denture stabilization.
