Product Description
The Hahn™ Tapered Implant Guided Surgical Kit allows the clinician to easily organize, store, and transport the surgical tooling of the Hahn Tapered Implant Guided Surgery System. The autoclavable, color-coded surgical kit clearly maps the drilling protocol for each implant. Drills are arranged from left to right and top to bottom in order of increasing diameter / bone density, with color-coded bands to indicate the corresponding diameter of Hahn Tapered Implant.
- All instruments are machined from corrosion-resistant, surgical stainless steel and feature standard connectivity.
-
Color-coded fields indicate the corresponding diameter of Hahn Tapered Implant.
-
For added safety, each shaping drill is implant-specific to precisely determine both diameter and depth of the osteotomy.

Contraindications
Patients should be evaluated before the time of surgery for factors that put them at risk from the implant placement procedure, or that may affect healing of bone or surrounding soft tissue. Contraindications include but are not limited to: vascular conditions, uncontrolled diabetes, clotting disorders, anticoagulant therapy, metabolic bone disease, chemotherapy or radiation therapy, chronic periodontal inflammation, insufficient soft tissue coverage, metabolic or systemic disorders associated with wound and/or bone healing, use of pharmaceuticals that inhibit or alter natural bone remodeling, any disorders which inhibit a patient's ability to maintain adequate daily oral hygiene, uncontrolled parafunctional habits, insufficient height and/or width of bone, and insufficient interarch space.
Do NOT use any drill that exceeds the diameter or length of the prescribed implant.
Hahn Tapered Implant Guided Shaping Drills for Dense Bone and Guided Screw Taps should NOT be used in soft bone types (Type III, Type IV).
Do NOT rotate after the flange on the Guided Mount fully meets the guide sleeve and the corresponding hexes are aligned. Doing so may cause the osteotomy to strip.
Sterility
Instruments are shipped NON-STERILE. It is recommended that the Hahn Tapered Implant Guided Surgical Kit be steam-sterilized for 15 minutes at 132°C (270°F). Allow sterilized components to dry for at least 30 minutes.
