Course Synopsis
Presenter: Sarah Belderes, DDS
This comprehensive course is designed for dentists seeking to expand their practice through esthetic smile design and the application of injectable neuromodulators. Participants will learn to enhance facial esthetics and dental harmony through the combined use of dental procedures and neuromodulator treatment. Through lectures and a hands-on training session, participants will develop skills in comprehensive facial assessment, treatment planning, and the safe administration of neuromodulators.

- Understand the principles of comprehensive facial analysis and smile design
- Develop proficiency in identifying facial muscle dynamics that affect smile esthetics and determine appropriate neuromodulator treatment sites
- Understand the pharmacology, safety protocols, and proper storage/handling of neuromodulators in the dental setting
- Demonstrate proper injection techniques for key esthetic areas, including gummy smile correction, masseter reduction, and lip line enhancement

Sarah Belderes, DDS
Dr. Sarah Belderes graduated from USC dental school in 2001, winning the pediatric dentistry award. She practices in her hometown of San Diego as a restorative dentist, utilizing digital technology and a team of specialists to provide a wide variety of treatments. She has spent countless hours training in the areas of implant surgery, clear aligner therapy, neurotoxins and fillers. She prides herself on successfully building a cohesive team that is both business-minded and patient-focused. Using intraoral scanners, mills and 3D printers, Dr. Belderes is on the cutting-edge of digital dentistry. She graduated Guiding Leaders in 2023.
