Description
The Inclusive® Full Arch Scan Body is used to transmit position and angulation data of a seated
multi-unit abutment when scanned with an intraoral scanner. Designed for chairside use with intraoral scanners, the
Inclusive Full Arch Scan Body is attached to a multi-unit coping which requires a compatible
Inclusive Multi-Unit Abutment or Glidewell HT’ Implant Multi-Unit
Abutment fastened with the respective multi-unit prosthetic screw. Its opacity on a radiograph allows
accurate confirmation of complete seating. Each Inclusive Full Arch Scan Body Kit includes four small (16.6-mm-long) full-arch scan bodies, four medium (21.6-mm-long) full-arch scan bodies, and eight screws.
The Inclusive Full Arch Scan Body is:
- Radiopaque and is designed for clinical use
- Intended to be used during a digital scanning procedure to capture a seated multi-unit abutment position and
angulation relative to adjacent dentition
- Intended for use as an aid in prosthetic rehabilitation and used as an accessory with endosseous dental implants
when tissue contact will last less than 1 hour
- 3D printed from biocompatible resin
- Packaged non-sterile
- Intended for single use
Clinical Instructions for Use
- Inspect each Inclusive Full-Arch Scan Body prior to use. Do not use a scan body that is damaged or
unclean. It is recommended to place a throat pack prior to seating scan body.
- Place the Inclusive Full-Arch Scan Body onto the compatible multi-unit abutment. Secure the scan
body to prevent aspiration or swallowing by hand tightening the screw using the appropriate prosthetic driver.
- Verify proper seating of the scan body. Check for soft-tissue impingement or other obstructions and confirm each
scan body is fully seated onto the multi-unit abutment via a bitewing radiograph.
- Scan per your intraoral scanner’s instructions and laboratory’s recommended workflow.
